2020 SEASON (As A Sophomore): Made three starts in four appearances during his sophomore campaign that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Posted an 0-1 record with a 5.79 earned run average … Recorded 11 strikeouts against seven walks in 14.0 innings … Fanned a four batters in a season-high 4.2 innings vs. USC (2-23-20) … Matched that total with four additional in his next start against Oregon State (3-1-20) … Saw what would be his final game action of the season, pitching 2.2 innings of relief in the second game of a weekend series at No. 11/15 Oklahoma (3-7-20).

2019 SEASON (As A Freshman): Made 12 starts in 18 appearances, notching a 4-2 record with a 4.01 ERA and  41 strikeouts … Allowed one earned run or less in seven starts … Held host New Mexico scoreless over a season-long 7.1 innings for his first collegiate victory (3-22-19) … Fanned a season-high seven batters vs. Fresno State (3-29-19) … Collected his second win of the year after allowing just one run in six innings, helping the Aztecs to a 4-2 home conquest of LMU (4-9-19) … Also emerged triumphant after yielding just one run in 5.2 innings of relief vs. Air Force in the completion of an earlier suspended game (4-18-19) … Was credited with the victory in SDSU’s wild 10-8 triumph over San José State despite giving up seven earned runs in seven innings of his final start (5-5-19) … Tossed another three innings of relief in the regular-season finale vs. New Mexico (5-18-19).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner at Norco High in Corona, California... Played both pitcher and designated hitter for the Cougars... Named team MVP, team Most Valuable Pitcher, and was a first team all-league selection... Led the Big 8 in strikeouts during his senior year with 78... 2018 Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention... Named to Press Enterprise HS Gametime First Team with a 10-1 record and 1.30 earned run average as a senior... Also recruited by Long Beach State and Pepperdine.
