SAN DIEGO – San Diego State had 82 student-athletes earn academic All-Mountain West designation for the spring semester, the Mountain West Conference office announced from Colorado Springs, Colorado on Tuesday afternoon.
To be eligible for 2024 Spring Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Additionally, student-athletes must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests.
With 19 student-athlete honorees, swimming and diving earned the most awards among Aztecs who competed in the winter and spring semesters. Track and Field was second with 17 and softball was third with 11 awards.
