Doubles – Played in 21 dual matches with 18 coming on the top court… Won eight matches including a 6-1 record in Mountain West play… Paired with Myah Petchey 20 times… Earned consecutive wins on Feb. 14 and 16 over Hawai‘i’s Vilcek/Knezkova (6-2) and Long Beach State’s Cook/Ramstedt (6-4)… Won their first six Mountain West matchups on their way to the All-Mountain West Doubles team… Opened conference play by taking down Nevada’s Charrier/Cakarevic (6-2 on March 24), Wyoming’s Zehender/Borodina (7-5 on March 28), and Air Force’s Van Houweling/Kojonroj (6-3 on April 5)… Kept the winning going against New Mexico’s Jhang/Hoppe (6-2 on April 7), Colorado State’s Buzkova/Zhadzinskaya (6-3 on April 12) and Fresno State's Kobayashi/Magrini (6-4 on April 14)… Also played with Andjela Skrobonja against UC San Diego on Jan. 30.
Singles – Competed in 21 dual matches on the top court… Tied for third on the team with 15 wins (15-3) and second in dual wins with the same number… Finished undefeated in conference play as she was named Mountain West Player of the Year and All-Mountain West in singles… Won her first seven decisions of the season… Started out by beating Loyola Marymount’s Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik (6-4, 7-5 on Jan. 27), UC San Diego’s Kelly Leung (6-0, 6-1 on Jan. 30) and Maryland’s Minorka Miranda (6-1, 6-2 on Feb. 3)… Went 3-0 in a week with wins over Hawai‘i’s No. 86-ranked Ana Vilcek (6-2, 6-3 on Feb. 14), Long Beach State’s Rhona Cook (6-3, 6-3 on Feb. 16) and California’s No. 21-ranked Hannah Viller Moeller (4-6, 7-5, 10-4 on Feb. 18) to bring home Mountain West Player of the Week on Feb. 21… Won her next match against Sally Pethybridge, of Portland, 7-5, 6-3 on Feb. 24… Went 2-0 during the opening week of Mountain West play, beating Nevada’s Marlene Foerster (6-3, 6-3 on March 24) and Wyoming’s Sophie Zehender (6-2, 6-1 on March 28)… Earned Mountain West Player of the Week accolades again after another 2-0 record the following week with wins over Air Force’s Arianna Van Houweling (6-2, 6-1 on April 5) and New Mexico’s Katherine Jhang (6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 6-2 on April 7)… Closed out the regular season with a win over UNLV’s Zita Kovacs (6-4, 7-6 on April 19)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West All-Tournament Team by going 3-0, defeating Utah State’s Zeynep Naz Ozturk (6-4, 6-2) in the Quarterfinals, Colorado State’s Zara Lennon (6-2, 6-1) in the Semfinals before blanking Kovacs (6-0, 6-0) in the Championship as the Aztecs brought home the tournament title.

Sophomore Season at FIU
2022-23: Named First Team All-CUSA for both singles and doubles ... Named Singles Player of CUSA Championship ... Went 11-6 in dual singles at No. 1 position ... Went 17-5 at No. 2 doubles alongside Oyinlomo Quadre ... Ranked as high as No. 56 alongside Quadre in doubles.
Freshman Season at FIU
2021-22: Named Conference USA Freshman of the Year and to CUSA All-Freshman Team ... Received All-CUSA Singles Second Team Went 16-3 in dual singles and 10-6 in dual doubles ... Finished 13-2 at No. 1 singles and 3-1 at No. 2 singles ... 11 of 13 victories came in straight sets.
Prior to FIU: Earned back-to-back semifinal performances in a pair of tournaments in South Africa and collected five singles in 2020 alone. Kabbaj also won the Tournoi ITF Junior Meknes Ismailia in her home country of Morocco and the J5 Cario in Egypt. In doubles action, Kabbaj recently won the J3 Pretoria in South Africa, while finishing runner-up at the JB2 Pretoria the following week.
Kabbaj also competed for Morocco in the 2019 Junior Fed Cup, knocking off three teams in doubles play and earning a singles victory over her South Korean foe. Overall, Kabbaj has competed in three Junior Fed Cups, with the earliest coming when she was 14 years old.
