2022-23 SEASON (As a Freshman):
Enjoyed an impressive debut for the Aztecs, earning Mountain West Freshman of the Meet honors at the conference championships after recording lifetime bests in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley, helping the Scarlet and Black capture its second straight MW title … Secured a second-place finish in the 100 breast with an NCAA “B” cut time of 1:00.79 (2-17-23) … Also placed fifth in the 200 breast after touching the wall at 2:12.96, resulting in another NCAA “B” cut time (2-18-23) … Logged a career-fast 2:01.95 in the preliminaries of the 200 IM before logging a seventh-place performance in the finals with a clocking of 2:02.99 (2-16-23) … Received all-Mountain West recognition following the league championship and was the only Aztec freshman to score points at the MW meet  … Helped SDSU notch its 50th consecutive dual-meet victory with a second-place effort of 1:03.65 in the 100 breast at San Diego (1-27-23) … Finished third in the 200 backstroke with a personal-best 2:13.48 in a double-dual sweep of Incarnate Word and Cal State East Bay (1-5-23) … Helped the Aztecs capture the team title at the highly competitive SMU Invitational after advancing to the “A” finals in three individual events … Finished sixth in the 200 IM (2:02.61) and 200 breast (2:14.76) to go with a seventh-place clocking in the 100 breast (1:01.93) … Also swam the breaststroke segment of SDSU’s 400 medley relay team that finished second with a time of 3:40.88 (11-17/19-22) … Recorded a career-fast swim of 4:37.47 in the 400 IM at the GCU Quad Meet, where the Aztecs swept Grand Canyon, Seattle and LMU (10-21/22-22) … Emerged triumphant in the 50 breast with a time of 30.18 in SDSU’s dual-meet victory at Pepperdine (10-6-22) … Scored points for the Scarlet and Black in three individual events and as a member of two relays at the Fresno State Chick-Fil-A Invitational, contributing to a second-place team finish (10-7/8-22) … Earned Mountain West All-Academic honors following the spring semester and received conference scholar-athlete recognition.
