SAN DIEGO – San Diego State had 75 student-athletes named Mountain West Scholar-Athletes, the Mountain West Conference office announced from Colorado Springs, Colorado on Wednesday afternoon.
Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors are awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least two academic terms at their institution and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
With 16 student-athlete honorees, swimming and diving earned the most awards of any Aztec squad. Track and Field was second with 14 and women's soccer finished third with eight winners. All 14 SDSU sports that compete in the Mountain West were represented.
