2018-19 Season
XC: Competed in five of SDSU's six races... Was SDSU's top finisher at the UC Riverside Invitational 6k with a time of 21:46.6, finishing 41st out of 160 runners... Posted top time in the 5k in her first race of the season, 19:13.7 at the Mark Covert Classic.

Indoor: Did not compete

Outdoor: Competed in three meets... Ran the 1,500m at UCLA's Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (5:14.26) and at the Mountain West Challenge at UNLV (5:35.27)... Ran the 3,000m steeplechase at UC San Diego's Triton Invitational (13:17.12).

High School
Attended Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in Burbank, Calif for three years where she competed in cross country, varsity and basketball... Was a three-time league MVP in cross country and was First Team CIF SS as a junior... As a junior was an all-league selection in the 800, 1600 and 3200... Was First Team CIF SS in the 1600 as a sophomore and in the 800 as a junior... Set her school record in the 1,600 (5:13) and was part of a record breaking 1600 relay team (4:09)... Helped her team win the cross country league championship as a sophomore and junior... Attended Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, Calif. as a senior, where she earned all league honors... A standout basketball player, she was a two time All-CIF SS selection and helped her team win the CIF SS 5A Championship as a junior.

Personal
Born in Pasadena, Calif. to Vilma and Jim Couch... Her father was a four-time All-American and two-time national champion in the 880 yard... When she was younger, she competed in swimming, diving, gymnastics, lacrosse and hip-hop dancing... Coaches high school runners for the Los Angeles Track Club... Favorite athlete is Steph Curry... Is majoring in criminal justice and hopes to be a lawyer.
