2015-16
Outdoor Track and Field: Was one of two competitors in the Heptathlon during the season for SDSU ... Finished third in the heptathlon at the MW Championships, scoring 5,238 points for ninth all-time and earning All-MW Outdoor Track and Field honors ... At the conference championships, earned collegiate bests in the 200 meters (4th, 25.63), 800 meters (7th, 2.23.92), 100-meter hurdles (5th, 14.44), high jump (t-3rd, 5-05.75), long jump (t-1st, 18-10.75) and javelin throw (113-07), and also competed in the shot put (6th, 24-04.25) … Competed in the high jump in six meets total, posting a season-best 5.04.25 at the California Collegiate Invite and California Invitational before topping that mark at the conference championships … At the California Invitational, competed in the 100-meter hurdles (9^th, 14.48), the high jump (t-18^th, 5-04.25) and the shot put (35-06.00) …  Season-best mark in the shot put of 35-06.50 came at the Payton Jordan Invitational.

Indoor Track and Field: Finished fourth in the pentathlon for sixth all-time at the MW Championships with a collegiate-best 3,690 ... Finished with the top mark in the preliminary rounds of the long jump at the MW Championships with a season-best 19-00.75 ... Ended up finishing third at the conference championships in the event (18-10.75) ... Also at the MW Championships, placed sixth with a collegiate-best 8.58 in the 60-meter hurdles, ninth in the 800 meters (2:27.61), 10th in the shot put (33-01.75) and tied for 12th in the high jump (5-00.25) ... Also competed in the pentathlon at the UW Invitational (3,682) for an eighth-place finish ... At the UW invitational, earned a collegiate best in the shot put (14th, 34-07.75) at the high jump (12th, 5-03.25), placed fourth in the long jump (18-04.50), ninth in the 800 meters (2:29.05) and 14th in the 60-meter hurdles (8.91) ... At the NAU Challenge, competed in the 60-meter hurdles (8th, 8.75), high jump (8th, 4-11.00) and shot put (18th, 34-04.00).

2013-15 (at Iowa)
Competed at Iowa from 2013-15, including all three years of indoor and the last two (2014-15) in outdoor ... ran a leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that was 23rd at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in 2015 ... also earned numerous all-Big Ten Academic awards ... ran a leg of the runner-up 4x100 team at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in 44.71 (fourth all-time at Iowa) and was also 11th in the long jump (18-11.75) ... was eighth in the indoor long jump at the Big Ten Championships in 19-05.50 ... competed at the 2014 indoor conference championship meet, taking 14th in the pentathlon (3,346) and 15th in the long jump (16-03.00) ... best mark of 19-06.25 in the long jump at the Musco Twilight on May 2, 2015, which ranks seventh all-time at Iowa.

High School
Was a four-time first-team all-league selection at Frontier High School in Bakersfield, Calif. ... also a two-time all-area selection ... competed in multiple events, finishing in the top 20 in the 110-meter hurdles her senior season at the California state meet and in the top 15 in the 300 hurdles her junior campaign ... was co-athlete of the year of her league her senior season.

Kassidy Ellis was born Aug. 5, 1994 in Bakersfield, Calif. ... majoring in speech and hearing in hopes of a career in speech pathology ... family members with competitive sports backgrounds include Garro Ellis (football) and Shaylee Babbitt (track and field) at Wyoming, Kirby Ellis (volleyball) at Carson Newman University and Austin Ellis (track and field) at the University of Anchorage ... also was recruited by Wyoming, Hawaii, Iowa, Iowa State and Central Missouri ... was a two-time letterwinner as a middle blocker in volleyball during HS.
