Utilized her redshirt season in 2006 ... earned most valuable player honors as a freshman in 2003 and as a sophomore in 2004 ... an excellent student, was a three-time most outstanding student-athlete (2003-05) ... qualified for the NCAA regionals in 2003 and 2004 ... owned the team[apos]s fastest 200-meter dash time during her first three years ... named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association freshman of the year in 2003 ... had five top-five finishes in the 100 and six of the same variety in the 200 in her first year on campus ... set the school record in the 100 as a freshman with a time of 11.75 in the Sun Belt Conference meet, which qualified her for the regional meet ... ran a school-record time of 24.05 in the 200 at the league championships that same season.
