2019 SEASON - SOPHOMORE
Played in 29 games, starting twice in right field ... Was mostly used as a pinch runner or a pinch fielder ... Was 0-for-6 with four runs ... Was perfect in the field in five chances ... Scored a run in the opener vs. Syracuse on Feb. 8 ... Was 0-for-2 in starts at Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 20) and vs. Nebraska (Feb. 22) ... Other runs came against Cal Poly (Feb. 24), at Colorado State (April 27) and vs. Fresno State (May 4).

2018 SEASON - FRESHMAN
Played in 32 games in her first season, starting 11 times (nine at right field, two at left field) ... Batted .143 (4-for-28) with six runs, two walks, two stolen bases and a sacrifice bunt, posting a .200 on-base percentage ... Only had on error in the outfield in 15 chances (.933 fielding percentage) ... Started five of the 14 games she played in league action, failing to record a hit in 11 at-bats, while scoring four runs with a walk and posting a perfect fielding percentage in nine chances ... Was one of six Aztecs with at least three hits in a game, going 3-for-4 in her first collegiate start against UC Davis on Feb. 11 ... Led the team with four game-winning runs and ranked second with five go-ahead scores ... Scored SDSU's final run of the season in walk-off victory against Utah State on May 12.  

CLUB - SOCAL BREAKERS
Played her club ball for SoCal Breakers under coach Brant Beddow.  

HIGH SCHOOL - RANCHO BERNARDO
Earned four letters at local Rancho Bernardo High School ... Played outfielder and catcher for the Broncos, earning second-team all-Palomar League honors and being named the best defensive player at RBHS ... Also a scholar-athlete.  

PERSONAL
Janina Nicole Alfonso Jusay was born Oct. 15, 1998, in Manila, Philippines ... Daughter of Robert and Gevel Jusay ... Is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis as a fitness specialist.
