SAN DIEGO – San Diego State softball’s Sav Adams, Shannon Cunningham, Kate Farren, Jayleen Hernandez, Julie Holcomb, Grace Uribe, Jazmin Williams and Angie Yellen were selected as 2024-25 All-America Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced Monday.

To earn the honor, a student-athlete must maintain at least a combined 3.50 GPA for both semesters of the school year.

The Aztecs have made four straight NCAA Tournament Regional appearances since Stacey Nuveman Deniz took over as head coach of the program. Under Nuveman Deniz, SDSU has won five (including all three tournament titles) of its 12 all-time conference championships. In 2025, San Diego State finished 38-19 (.667) overall with a 16-6 (.727) conference record and beat Arizona State in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional.
