SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women's tennis team is gearing up for a pair of home matches at the Aztec Tennis Center this weekend. The Aztecs will welcome Wyoming and San Jose State to The Mesa, with the Aztecs-Cowgirls match set for 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, which the Aztecs-Spartans match will take place at noon on Saturday, March 30.

No. 72-ranked San Diego State (8-5, 2-1 Mountain West) is the only ranked team in the Mountain West. The Aztecs improved to 4-1 at home with a 4-1 win over Nevada last Sunday at the Aztec Tennis Center. It was San Diego State's first home match in over a month. The Aztecs are led by No. 73-ranked Yasmine Kabbaj (8-2) and No. 71 Andjela Skrobonja (10-2). The win over Nevada marked Kabbaj's return after she missed the team's road trip the prior week. Skrobonja's singles loss snapped a ten-match winning streak with her other defeat coming in the season opener. In doubles, Skrobonja and Andreea Velcea, the two returners from last year's Aztec squad, improved to 7-0 when playing on the second court in the victory.

Wyoming (11-7, 2-1) dropped its conference opener at Nevada, 4-3. The Cowgirls returned to Laramie, Wyo., and bounced back with a 4-1 win over Boise State and a 4-0 shutout win over Utah State. The Aztecs are 17-5 all-time against Wyoming including a 4-1 road win last season.

San Jose State (11-4, 2-2) has won 4-0 shutouts at home in its last two matches. The Spartans knocked off Air Force on March 24 and UC San Diego on March 26 heading into Saturday's clash. SDSU blanked SJSU 4-0 last season to improve to 7-5 in the all-time series.

Both matches will be live streamed.
