2007 - No. 24 Men's Soccer Downs No. 8 California, 3-2
The 24th-ranked San Diego State men's soccer team scored the first three goals of the game en route to a 3-2 victory over No. 8 California at SDSU Sports Deck to give the Aztecs seven straight matches without a loss. Senior Kraig Chiles scored twice for SDSU and was later named the College Soccer News National Player of the Week, the Pac-10 Player of the Week as well as to the Soccer America Team of the Week

Oct. 13

2012 - Aztec Volleyball Sparks Conference Title Run with Five-Set Victory at Air Force
Raegan Shelton led all players with 20 kills, while Johnna Fouch contributed a double-double with 48 assists and 10 digs, lifting the visiting San Diego State volleyball team to a five-set triumph over Air Force (25-9, 21-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-4) on Oct. 13, 2012. The victory sparked a 12-match winning streak for the Aztecs, who would capture a share of the Mountain West Conference title and qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2001.
 
The SDSU cause was also aided by Andrea Hannasch, who blasted 16 kills of her own, while Kristi Jackels totaled 19 digs. In addition, Emily Harris got into the act with 10 block assists, followed closely by Chaiymin Steel's nine stuffs.
 
The Aztecs out-hit the Falcons .223 to .086, maintaining a decisive edge in kills (62-45) and team blocks (14-6), as the Scarlet and Black matched the 1988 and 1995 squads for the program's longest winning streak since the 1986 team started the year 23-0.
 
SDSU, which finished the 2012 campaign with a 23-8 overall record and a 13-3 mark in the MWC, played just two more five-set matches the rest of the season, posting a 7-3 record in such contests, including a narrow setback to Saint Mary's in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Individually, Hannasch and Fouch received honorable mention All-America recognition from the AVCA in 2012 to go with All-West Region honors, joining Shelton on the all-conference team.

1995 - Jones Rushes Football Past Fresno State, 48-24
Junior George Jones rushed for 270 yards and five touchdowns to lead the San Diego State football team to a 48-24 win over Fresno State. At the time, the 270 yards were the fifth most in SDSU single-game history, while the five touchdowns were tied for second. The five touchdowns are still tied for the second most in a game in program history, while the 270 yards rank eighth. Jones averaged 9.64 yards per carry in the game on 28 attempts. Jones finished the 1995 season with then school records 1,842 yards and 23 touchdowns. The 23 touchdowns are still tied for the most in SDSU single-season history, while the 1,842 yards rank fourth.

Oct. 16

2010 - Football Holds Off No. 23/23 Air Force, 27-25
Freshman Ronnie Hillman scored on runs of 65 and 44 yards, finishing with 191 yards on 24 carries to lead San Diego State to a 27-25 upset of No. 23 Air Force. The Aztecs beat a ranked team for the first time since defeating No. 16 Wyoming 28-24 on Nov. 7, 1996. Ryan Lindley added 247 yards and a touchdown through the air, while DeMarco Sampson caught four balls for 106 yards.

Oct. 17

2008 - Women's Soccer Shuts Out Air Force, 7-0
In the most prolific scoring day in the history of the SDSU Sports Deck, which opened on Aug. 25, 2000, San Diego State scored seven goals in a 7-0 demolition of Mountain West foe Air Force. Among the goal scorers Cat Walker (2006-11) recorded her first and only hat trick, the eighth in program history. Her three goals are tied for the second most in a game by an Aztec and her six points equaled the third most in program history. Walker had the eventual game winner when she opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Her second tally came in the 53rd minute to make the score 3-0 and finished her day with a strike in the 66th minute, which made the score 6-0. Walker's effort, which included an assist in the team's second game that week, earned her inclusion on Soccer America's National Team of the Week. In addition, she was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week and by season's end was a first-team All-Mountain West selection.
