ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The San Diego State football team participated in its final bowl activities on Friday prior to Saturday's showdown with Central Michigan in the 2019 New Mexico Bowl.
 
Aztec head coach Rocky Long addressed the media in a morning press conference at Isleta Resort & Casino along with senior captains Parker Houston and Kyahva Tezino.
 
SDSU then attended a kickoff luncheon at Isleta Resort & Casino, where Long and CMU head coach Jim McElwain spoke to the attendees. Ending the event was the key note speaker and former NFL player Merril Hoge.
 
In addition, San Diego State attended a pep rally and battle of the bands event in the evening.
 
The Aztecs (9-3) and Chippewas (8-5) play at noon MT (11 a.m. PT ) Saturday.
