TEAM NOTES
* San Diego State finished its season with a 8-5 mark ... It is just the second time SDSU has won eight games in a single campaign in the last 15 years (also last year) ... The Aztecs are now 5-5 all-time in bowl games.
* The Aztecs dropped to 0-1 all-time against Louisiana-Lafayette and 7-2 vs. members of the Sun Belt Conference.
* The two-point loss was SDSU's smallest margin of defeat this season.
* San Diego State overcame at least a 16-point deficit to take the lead for the 14th time in the program's division I era ... This is the first time in SDSU's 499 Division I games that it has overcome a double-figure deficit in three consecutive outings.
* For the second consecutive outing, SDSU converted a third and 19, tying as its longest third-down conversion of the season.
* With one interception tonight, SDSU ended with 15 this season, the most by the Aztecs since they had 16 in 2006 ... San Diego State had at least one pick in each of its last six contests and in 10 of 13 games this season (10 of last 11 outings overall).
* SDSU's goal-line stand toward the end of the second quarter is the first time this season that the Aztec defense has not given up any points when an opponent was within its 10-yard line.
* The Aztecs scored a touchdown on their opening drive of the second half for the fourth time in their last seven outings and the second consecutive contest.
* SDSU posted its second 99-yard scoring drive of the season in the third quarter (also vs. Wyoming).
* For the first time in its 13 games this season, the SDSU defense allowed more than 10 points in the second half ... It was also the first time the Aztecs gave up more than one touchdown ... Only three teams scored more than a touchdown prior to tonight with AFA, TCU and Boise State each notching 10 points (1 TD, 1 FG) ... SDSU held teams scoreless after the break on three occasions.
* SDSU did not have a turnover in a game for the fourth time this season and the second consecutive outing (also vs. Fresno State, Army and Cal Poly).
* The Aztecs held a team to less than 100 yards on the ground for the second consecutive game and the fourth time this season.

Ryan Lindley, Sr., QB
* Finished his Aztec career with 961-for-1,732 for 12,690 yards and 90 TDs, which are all school records ... Completed a pass to 31 different receivers during his four-year tenure, including seven tonight ... Notched his four career 400-yard passing game with a season-best 413 yards ... It is his most yards since throwing for 528 against Utah last year ... It was his 14th career 300-yard passing game (second of the year) and 37th career 200-yard passing game ... Had three passing scores in a game for the third time this season and the 13th time in his career.
Colin Lockett, So., WR
* Posted his first career outing with multiple receiving TDs ... Moved his career and season total to eight receiving TDs and nine overall (also kick return for a TD vs. Cal Poly) ... He has at least three catches in all 13 games this season ... The three TDs are the most by an Aztec in a single outing since Vincent Brown had three against Utah on Nov. 20, 2010.
Ronnie Hillman, So., RB
* Finished the year with 1,711 yards rushing and 3,243 career yards in 26 outings ... Had a career high in receptions in a game (previous 3 vs. TCU) ... Had at least two receptions in a game for the 10th time this season and the 13th time in his 26-game career ... Moved into fifth in career rushing attempts, moving past Wayne Pittman.
Miles Burris, Sr., LB
* Logged at least a half tackle for a loss for the 19th time in the last 20 outings ... Finished his career with 234 tackles and 47 stops for a loss, including 19.5 this season.
Brian Stahovich, Sr., P
* Became SDSU's all-time leader in career punting yardage on his first kick of the evening, going for 54 yards to push him past Wayne Ross, who had 10,402 yards from 1984-87 ... He finished his career with 10,556 yards on 246 attempts ... Booted two balls of 50 or more yards, giving him 59 for his career.
Dylan Denso, So., WR
* Recorded a career best in receiving yards, surpassing his previous high of 83 yards at Air Force ... It is his first career 100-yard receiving game and he becomes the third different Aztec to reach that mark this year (also Escobar, Lockett) and it is the sixth such outing by an SDSU player this season ... Had a career-long catch of 46 yards to set up the team's opening field goal of the game (prev. 33 yards at Air Force, vs. Cal Poly).
Nat Berhe, So., DB
* Set a career high for tackles in a game with 10, beating his previous high of nine.
OTHER NOTES
* San Diego State began the game with the ball for the 11th time this season of 13 games.
* SDSU scored on its opening drive of a game for the first time since the Wyoming contest (5th time this season overall).
* Sophomore linebacker Nick Tenhaeff tallied his first career blocked kick on UL's extra-point attempt in the first quarter ... It is the Aztecs' first blocked extra point attempt since Leon McFadden had one in 2009 vs. Southern Utah.
* True freshman Adam Roberts logged his career catch in the second quarter. He is the 13th different Aztec to catch a pass this season.
* Aztec redshirt senior Dey Juan Hemmings posted his first interception of the season and second of his career ... He previously had a pick during the 2009 campaign vs. New Mexico State.
* Senior wideout Marcus Russell had a career game high for catches against UL, beating his previous best of two receptions at Colorado State.
