• San Diego State went with the same starting five as it did last Wednesday against Cal State San Marcos - Garrett Green, James Rahon, Tim Shelton, Chase Tapley and Xavier Thames.
• With the victory, the Aztecs have won 18 consecutive exhibition dates.
• Tonight's 25-point win is the Aztecs' seventh-straight double-figure exhibition victory.
• Tonight's attendance of 11,613 is the second-largest exhibition crowd in the Steve Fisher era only to last Wednesday's game vs. Cal State San Marcos (11,711).
• The Aztecs had four players score in double figures, which was one more than the exhibition vs. Cal State San Marcos.
Player Notes
• Junior James Rahon started the game by knocking down his first five field goals, including his first two three-point attempts. The guard finished with a game-high 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting (2-4 3FG, 2-2 FT). In two exhibition games, Rahon averaged 18.5 points on 13-for-21 shooting (5-10 3FG, 6-6 FT).
• Senior Tim Shelton (11 points) scored in double figures for the first time in any game since scoring 10 vs. Baylor in the NIT semifinals back on March 31, 2009. Shelton also grabbed seven rebounds.
• For the second straight exhibition game, junior Chase Tapley reached double figures in scoring. The guard followed his 15-point performance vs. Cal State San Marcos with 11 points tonight.
• Junior Alec Williams, who had eight points vs. Cal State San Marcos, finished with 11 points after knocking down two triples and five free throws.
• Senior Garrett Green led all players with eight rebounds. He also contributed seven points.
• Junior DeShawn Stephens produced seven points and seven rebounds. In two exhibitions, Stephens averaged 8.0 rebounds.
• Sophomore Xavier Thames had a game-high four assists after adding a game-high nine vs. Cal State San Marcos. In two exhibitions, he averaged 6.5 assists.
