Final Score: Wyoming 30, San Diego State 27
GENERAL NOTES
* The Aztec defense has allowed opposing offenses to score no more than one touchdown in the second half of all seven contests in 2011 ... This is the first time the Aztecs have shutout an opponent after the break ... Air Force and TCU scored only 10 points, the most SDSU allowed in the second half of a game this season (1 TD, 1 FG each) ... Of the 177 points allowed this year by the defense, only 47 have been scored after the break (also 7 vs. Cal Poly, 6 at Army, 7 vs. Washington State, 7 at Michigan, 10 vs. TCU, 10 at Air Force).
* San Diego State dropped to 15-18 all-time against Wyoming and 10-7 in games played in San Diego ... The visiting team has won each of the last three meetings in the series.
* With the touchdown pass to start the game, San Diego State scored on its opening drive for the second consecutive outing and the fourth time this season (three have been touchdowns).
* The Aztecs went over the 200-yard mark in team rushing yards for the fourth time in seven outings in 2011 with a season best 292 yards. It is the sixth time in the last nine games and 10th time in the last 20 outings that SDSU has reached the 200-yard mark.
PLAYER NOTES
Ronnie Hillman, So., RB
* With his 224 yards on 25 carries tonight, Hillman reached the 1,000-yard mark in rushing this season ... Hillman reached his 1,000-yard mark this year in just seven outings, tying as the second-fewest games to 1,000 in school history and trailing only Marshall Faulk, who did it in six outings in 1992 ... Hillman is the first Aztec to record back-to-back seasons with 1,000 yards rushing since Marshall Faulk in 1992-93 ... Hillman is only the third Aztec with multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons in his career, joining Faulk (1991-92-93) and Paul Hewitt (1987-88) ... Hillman's 1,000-yard rushing season in 2011 is the 17th in school history and puts him above the 2,500 rushing mark in his career. His yards this year of 1,057 are already the second-most by an Aztec sophomore.
* Notched the longest play from scrimmage (rush or reception) in San Diego State history with his 99-yard run for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was the longest rush in Aztec football history, surpassing the previous long of 98 yards by Phil Prokop vs. Pepperdine on Oct. 11, 1952 (SDSU won that game 33-13) ... The run was obviously also Hillman's longest of his career (prev. 93 yards at Missouri) and longest of the season by an Aztec (Hillman prev. 59 vs. WSU).
* On his 99-yard run, logged his 12th career 100-yard rushing game in his 20th career outing ... Has run for over 100 yards in eight of his last nine games and in six of seven in 2011 ... He also surpassed the 150-yard mark for the 10th time in his career, which still ranks second in SDSU history behind only Marshall Faulk (16) ... Hillman reached the 200-yard mark in rushing in the fourth quarter, his third career 200-yard rushing game and first of the year ... Hillman entered the contest as the nation's leading rusher, averaging 138.8 yards per outing.
* Logged his longest career reception and the team's longest of 2011 in the first quarter on his 71-yard touchdown catch ... It was his second career touchdown reception and his first of the year ... Has two receptions in a game for the 10th straight contest.
* Posted two rushing touchdowns and one receiving score, giving him 31 for his career (29 rushing, 2 receiving) ... Posted his ninth career outing with multiple TDs in a single game (fifth in 2011) and has three or more scores in a single game four times.
Gavin Escobar, So., TE
* Despite playing with a broken hand, hauled in his team-high fifth touchdown of the season in the first quarter. All five of his TD catches have come at Qualcomm Stadium ... His five TDs are a career single-season high, surpassing the four he had as true freshman a year ago ... Escobar's 44-yard reception is his longest of the year ... Logged a career high for receiving yards with 95, beating his previous best of 68 vs. TCU.
Ryan Lindley, Sr., QB
* Threw a touchdown pass for the 17th straight outing, which continues to be the fourth-longest active streak in the NCAA FBS ... Threw for over 200 yards in the 33rd time in his career and the fifth consecutive contest.

* Colin Lockett recorded the longest rush of his career on his third career carry with a 43-yard effort in the third quarter ... Senior Larry Gibbs had a career-high three tackles for a loss, matching his previous career total in the category ... SDSU's 10 tackles for loss are a season high.
