Todd Greenbaum came to SDSU in September of 2014 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing, Sales & Fulfillment in 2017. He serves as the primary marketing contact for all ticketed women’s sports and assists with marketing the football and men’s basketball programs. Greenbaum also oversees the San Diego State Band and Spirit Squads and serves as the Sport Liaison for the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Greenbaum’s responsibilities also include email communication for the athletic department, including development of the weekly Aztec Nation newsletter, supervision of the SDSU Athletics marketing internship program, and management of the athletic department’s trade. Additionally, Greenbaum is the on-field promotions manager during football games and the game day producer at men’s basketball home games.
Greenbaum has helped several SDSU programs produce record setting sales and attendance numbers during his tenure on The Mesa. Most recently, in 2021, he helped the Aztec Volleyball program record a new ticket sales record. In 2020, he helped the SDSU women's basketball and softball teams set new records for single-game attendance. The women’s basketball team also set program highs for average attendance and total attendance during the 2019-20 season under his watch.
Prior to coming to SDSU he served as a Marketing Assistant at UCLA (2013-14) and Long Beach State (2012-13).
Greenbaum holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in sport management from Long Beach State.
He lives in Rancho Peñasquitos with his wife Katie and their daughter Zoe.
