Sam Meyers joined the San Diego State staff in a full time capacity in August 2023 as the Media Relations Coordinator. He is the primary media contact for men's and women's tennis and secondary contact for men's basketball while overseeing media credentials for all Aztec sports.
A 2023 SDSU graduate, Meyers spent four seasons on The Mesa as the Media Relations Student Assistant from August 2019-May 2023. During his time as a student, he worked 400 games across 12 sports assisting primarily with inputting stats and public address announcing on game days. Meyers served as the men's tennis contact for his senior year during the 2022-23 season. He also wrote a weekly column on former Aztecs in professional sports called Aztecs in the Pros.
