Nate Steblay
Nate Steblay began working for San Diego State University in July of 2021 as an assistant athletic trainer for the lacrosse team.

Before joining the Aztecs, Steblay was an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville for two years. She worked with women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, softball, and baseball.

Steblay attended North Dakota State University where she earned her bachelor’s in exercise science (2018) and master of athletic training (2019). While pursuing her master’s degree, Steblay gained experience with the Bison football team and worked the 2017 FCS National Championship game.

Steblay is a member of National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), certified through the BOC, and is Graston M1 certified.

A native of Minnesota, she hates the cold and figured Southern California would provide less snow, wind, and freezing rain.
