Josh Nutsch
Josh Nutsch came to San Diego State in June of 2019 as an assistant athletic trainer. He currently works with the football and men's and women’s tennis teams.
 
Nutsch manages the inventory and ordering for the Gatorade allotment account, oversees the ordering of DME equipment and is responsible for student scheduling and their daily duties.
 
Prior to coming to SDSU, he worked with the Memphis Express of the AAF (2019) and the University of Kansas (2018).
 
While working on his master’s, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Akron, working with their football and track and field programs, while also serving as a trainer at the Akron Children’s Hospital.
 
Nutsh earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State in 2016 and then earned his Master’s in sports science and coaching at Akron in 2018.

Josh and his wife Kayla live in San Diego along with their dog Zoe.
