Dylan Parsley

Parsley comes to The Mesa after two years as an assistant coach with the University of San Diego’s women’s tennis team, joining Vinel in his first season as head coach after taking over for Peter Mattera.

A 2023 graduate of Azusa Pacific University, Parsley spent the first two years of his coaching career at San Diego. In 2024, he helped lead the 23rd-ranked Toreros to a 17-8 overall record (5-1 WCC), as well as their second consecutive appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. In 2025, USD finished the season ranked 39th in the nation with an 11-10 overall record (5-1 WCC), earning wins over No. 26 Pepperdine (4-3) and No. 54 Washington State (4-2).

Prior to his stint at USD, the El Paso, Texas native played for four seasons at Azusa Pacific, during which the Cougars won back-to-back Pacific West Tournament championships in 2022 and 2023. Parsley earned a bachelor’s degree in communication management while also garnering ITA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-PacWest distinction.
