Joined team after serving as team manager for three years… Appeared in two games, totaling seven minutes.

At West Torrance High School
Received All-Pioneer second team honors as a senior…  Helped her team win the 2015 CIF Southern Section 1A Championship and the 2014 CIF Southern Section 2A Championship… Her high school also won the Bay League championship in 2013 and 2014… Was recruited by CSUN and Cal State Los Angeles… Also competed in track and field… Was an honor roll student all four years… Was president of the Freshman Focus Club as a senior.

Personal
Born in San Pedro, Calif. to Kathy and Joseph Merkovsky… Her grandfather played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1940s… Enjoys reading, going to the beach, listening to music and spending time with family friends… Majoring in kinesiology pre-physical therapy… Hopes to work in sports as a doctor of physical therapy.
