Joined the Aztecs in January 2009 and had an immediate impact ... Set SDSU records in the 200 backstroke (1:57.76) and 200 individual medley (2:01.49) ... Member of the 400 medley relay team that also set a school mark (3:43.71) ... Also recorded the second-fastest time in Aztec history in the 100 back (55.41) ... Was on the 200 medley relay team that had the fifth-best time for an SDSU quartet ... Earned all-Mountain West Conference honors in three events at the league championship meet after finishing fourth in the 200 back, sixth in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 IM.
PRIOR TO SAN DIEGO STATE
Attended Omsk Public Secondary #56 (high school) ... Went on to college at Tyumen State University in Tyumen, Russia ... Won silver and bronze medals at the 2007 Russian National Championships ... A gold medalist at the 2008 Western Sectionals in the 200 IM while competing for King Aquatic Club ... A World Cup finalist ...
