Was the junior class captain ... Became the Aztecs[apos] starting catcher after teammate Erin Floros went down with a knee injury 27 games into the season ... Did well behind the plate, posting career-highs in chances (342), putouts (310) and assists (26) ... The 310 putouts led the team ... Threw out 18 of the 36 (50 percent) who attempted to steal on her ... The 50 percent mark was second in the MWC behind Floros (52.4 percent) ... Also filled in for the injury-riddled Aztecs at first base ... Hit 10 doubles which tied her for 10th on the single-season list and tied Melissa Owens for the team lead ... Her walk (21) to strikeout (15) ratio of 1.40 was tops on the team for the second consecutive year ... Was intentionally walked a team-high three times ...
