High School: Four-year letterwinner at Monte Vista High School in San Diego, Calif....Was an all-Grossmont South League first team selection in 2003 and 2004...Earned second team honors in 2002 and 2005...Batted .353 with four home runs in 2005 and .400 with four homers in 2004...Led her team to the playoffs in 2002 and again in 2005 when she was the team captain...Also played two years of varsity basketball at Monte Vista...Played club ball for the San Diego Renegades in 2005...Earned the 2002 Academic Excellence for Algebra.
