Singles – Garnered all-Mountain West accolades to cap his first year on The Mesa after transferring from Oklahoma ... Ranked second on the team with 14 victories ... Alternated between the top two spots in the Aztec rotation during the spring schedule, finishing with seven wins ... Recorded his first dual-match triumph for the Scarlet and Black with a 6-4, 6-1 decision over Alabama’s Patrick Kaukovalta ... Won his next two encounters, defeating UNLV’s Ruben Alberts by a 6-1, 6-1 count before logging a 6-4, 6-3 upset of Oregon’s Simon Stevens ... Snapped a personal eight-match slide with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Eastern Washington’s Scott Paz ... Helped secure the SDSU’s shutout of Air Force with a 7-5, 6-4 shaving of the Falcons’ Isaac Perez ... Provided the clinching point in the Aztecs’ come-from-behind thriller vs. Nevada with a three-set nail-biter over the Wolf Pack’s Kostya Nesterenko, 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-4 ... Also helped No. 6 seed San Diego State rally to defeat third-seeded New Mexico in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Championship by pulling away for another three-set victory over Ricky Hernandez-Tong, which avenged an earlier defeat to the same Lobo opponent in the regular season ... Went 7-7 during the fall tournament slate, highlighted by a 3-1 run at the Easley Memorial Classic in Las Vegas ... Emerged victorious at the aforementioned event with a trio of three-setters over Northern Arizona’s Felix Schumann (6-7(5), 6-1, 6-3), UCLA’s Bryce Pereira (6-3, 2-6, 6-3) and another Bruin Austin Rapp (6-4, 3-6, 6-4) ... Faced his third straight UCLA adversary in the title match, but came up on the short end of a 6-1, 6-0 score to Maxime Cressy ... Pocketed two wins in Flight 1 of the Aztec Invitational, knocking off UC San Diego’s Marc Isaia, 6-2, 6-3, before cruising past Grand Canyon’s Lorenzo Fucile in the quarterfinals, 6-1, 6-2 ... Was unable to advance in the bracket, however, dropping a 6-1, 6-2 decision to USD’s August Holmgren in the semifinals ... Split two encounters in the main draw at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships, edging Loyola Marymount’s Nicholas Borchenko, 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-4, before falling to UC Santa Barbara’s Anders Holm in the second round, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 ... Salvaged a win in his final fall appearance with a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Pepperdine’s Max Mendelsohn on day three of the LMU Invitational ... Also competed in two matches of the pre-qualifying bracket at the ITA All-American Championships.
Doubles – Recorded six wins on the year as part of seven tandems ... Posted two victories with Sander Gjoels-Andersen during the fall slate, combining for an 8-3 triumph over Northern Arizona’s Felix Schulmann/Christopher Steele in the round of 16 at the Easley Memorial Classic, followed by an 8-5 decision over Pepperdine’s Dane Esses/Max Mendelsohn on the first day of the LMU Invitational ... Also combined for two wins in the spring playing alongside Joel Popov, highlighted by a huge 6-3 victory over Garrett Kurtz/David Norfeldt at No. 3 in the Aztecs’ dual-match upset over 28th-ranked San Diego ... SDSU duo toppled Rice’s Jared Aiman/Ashton Duke at the San Diego Spring Classic as well ... Teamed with Rafael Gonzalez Almazan at a home doubleheader vs. Liberty and Denver ... Joined forces with David Hough for the final six matches of the season, featuring a 6-4 decision over New Mexico’s Ricky Hernandez-Tong/Stepan Holis.
2016-17 Season (At Oklahoma)
Posted a 6-6 record in singles competition during the spring schedule, alternating between the fifth and sixth positions ... Won his first three collegiate matches, beginning with a 6-1, 6-1 conquest of Nebraska Omaha’s Louis-Jonas Heizlsperger in the 2017 opener ... Provided the clinching point in Oklahoma’s 5-2 win over Alabama with a three-set victory over the Crimson Tide’s Langford Hills, 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 ... Continued his streak with another three-setter over Tulsa’s Daniel Santos, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 ... Snapped a three-match skid later in the season with a 7-5, 6-2 decision over Texas Tech’s Pyry Hyrkkonen ... Helped the Sooners to a 4-0 shutout of Bryant University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over the Bulldogs’ Oliver Welsh ... Combined with teammate Adrian Oetzbach for doubles in three dual matches vs. TCU, Baylor and Texas Tech.

Gained valuable experience on the ITF Pro Circuit ... Reached the main draw quarterfinals at the France F15 Futures in 2015 ... Also advanced to the quarterfinals of the main bracket at the Tunisia F6 Futures in 2016.
