Helped secure the SDSU’s shutout of Air Force with a 7-5, 6-4 shaving of the Falcons’ Isaac Perez ... SDSU duo toppled Rice’s Jared Aiman/Ashton Duke at the San Diego Spring Classic as well ... Teamed with Rafael Gonzalez Almazan at a home doubleheader vs. Liberty and Denver ... Posted a 6-6 record in singles competition during the spring schedule, alternating between the fifth and sixth positions ... Won his first three collegiate matches, beginning with a 6-1, 6-1 conquest of Nebraska Omaha’s Louis-Jonas Heizlsperger in the 2017 opener ... Provided the clinching point in Oklahoma’s 5-2 win over Alabama with a three-set victory over the Crimson Tide’s Langford Hills, 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 ... Continued his streak with another three-setter over Tulsa’s Daniel Santos, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 ... Snapped a three-match skid later in the season with a 7-5, 6-2 decision over Texas Tech’s Pyry Hyrkkonen ... Helped the Sooners to a 4-0 shutout of Bryant University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over the Bulldogs’ Oliver Welsh ... Combined with teammate Adrian Oetzbach for doubles in three dual matches vs. TCU, Baylor and Texas Tech.
