Andre Zayas was named Director of Soccer Operations at San Diego State in August 2015. Zayas, a current International Business major in the Weber Honors College at SDSU, enters his third year on the Mesa and his third season as Director of Soccer Operations.
Zayas assists with Aztec Soccer Camps, team travel, and logistic management. He also assists with recruiting and administrative duties during practices and game days.
Aside from his duties with the men's soccer program, Zayas works with the event management staff in SDSU's athletic department. Zayas assists with event management and game operations for SDSU's Division I sports programs.
Prior to arriving to SDSU, Zayas spent three years as a soccer referee in the Murrieta Youth Soccer League and graduated from Murrieta Mesa High School in 2015. He graduated with a 4.4 grade point average and was a four-time captain for his high school's varsity soccer team.
