Finished in a tie for first at the Mountain West Conference Championships with a 6-under 207 ... Lost the individual championship on the first playoff hole to TCU[apos]s Robby Ormand ... Carded a season-low 67 in the opening round of the MWC Championships ... Tied for fifth with a 2-under 214 over 54 holes at the Fresno State Classic ... Recorded the team[apos]s lowest score of 219 at the NCAA West Regionals.
At Pepperdine: Played in seven tournaments at Pepperdine as a freshman... Helped the Waves to a NCAA West Regional berth... In 21 rounds, he had a scoring average of 75.00... His low round of 68 (T-8th) came during the first round of the Ashworth Collegiate Invitational at North Ranch C.C. in Westlake Village, Calif.... He was the top golfer for the Waves with a three-round score of 212 as he led them to the team title... His 212 effort was his low 54-hole score of the season... Ended the campaign with a top-10 and top-20 performance... Wound up in a tie for 72nd at the CordeValle Collegiate last October, after shooting a 230 over the course of three rounds... Tied for 35th in the first tournament of the spring, the PING-Arizona Intercollegiate, with a 54-hole, 218 performance... At the UH-Hilo Intercollegiate, he carded a 224 at the 54-hole tournament to finish in a tie for 75th... Helped Pepperdine come in third at the General Jim Hackler Invitational in South Carolina after he shot a 233... He tied for 67th (73-77-76-226) at the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.... In his last tournament of the season, he finished in a tie for 83rd after he carded a three-round score of 232 at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
High School: A four-time team most valuable player and 2005 team captain at Poway High... Earned all-Palomar League honors each of his four seasons... Named the Palomar League[apos]s player of the year... Was an all-CIF first-team selection in 2002 and 2005 and won all-academic honors in 2004 and 2005... Ranked tops in San Diego County in 2005 with a nine-hole scoring average of 35.6... Took home the 2003 Waiakea High School Invitational title... Was a member of the 2002 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team... Won on the PGA Junior Series Tour on four different occasions... Recorded five top-five finishes on the 2005 Golden State Tour... Came in second at the 2002 Westfield PGA Junior Championship and was fourth in 2003.
