Played in 35 of SDSU's 36 games and averaged a career-high 13.7 minutes... Enjoyed his best season to date by averaging 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds... Shot a team-high 55.2 percent from the floor... Blocked 18 shots, the third-most on the team... Pulled down 45 offensive boards, the fourth-most on the team despite playing the ninth-fewest minutes... Shot 50.0 percent or better from the field 22 times... Finished his prep career with more than 2,000 points (2,133), ranked second on the national high school career blocked shot list (1,120), and was second in California high school history in rebounds (1,732) and games played (135)... Averaged 23.4 points, 14.9 rebounds and 7.8 blocked shots as a senior in leading Hoover to a 26-8 record and a berth in the CIF San Diego Section Division II championship game for coach Ollie Goulston... A Parade magazine second-team All-America selection and San Diego Union-Tribune San Diego Section Player of the Year, a MaxPreps honorable mention All-American, an ESPN RISE All-American and the runner-up for California Mr. Basketball honors... A four-time all-state pick, Chol helped HHS to four consecutive Eastern League titles and four straight section title-game appearances, guiding Hoover to a cumulative 108-30 (.783) record...
