Passed for 6,967 yards and 56 touchdowns over three years at Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, leading the Dragons to a combined 36-5 (.878) record, according to MaxPreps.com ... Also rushed for 2,286 yards with 38 touchdowns, averaging 5.8 yards per carry ... Passed for 3,197 yards as a senior in 2014, going 223-for-335 (66.7 pct.) with 22 touchdowns, while adding 53 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground in a 13-1 season ... As a junior in 2013, was 200-for-316 (63.3 pct.) for 29 touchdowns against just seven interceptions, and an impressive 1,257 rushing yards and 20 scores on the ground ...
