2022 SEASON (As A Junior): Saw action in 15 games out of the bullpen in his first season on The Mesa after transferring from Imperial Valley College … Posted a 1-2 record with 4.24 ERA and 14 strikeouts … Allowed 27 hits and 20 runs (11 earned) in 23 1/3 innings of work … Allowed one walk or less in 11 appearances … Set season highs with four strikeouts and four innings pitched vs. Utah at the Tony Gwynn Legacy (2-26-22) … Notched his first victory in a Scarlet and Black uniform despite yielding one run on two hits in two innings at Long Beach State where the Aztecs prevailed by a 4-3 count (4-26-22) … Fanned two batters in the season finale at UNLV (5-21-22).

PRIOR TO SDSU: Played two seasons at Imperial Valley College in 2019 and 2020, hitting .335 with eight homers and 27 RBIs in 53 games overall … Also struck out 59 batters in 53.1 innings on the mound … Ranked 23rd in the state as a freshman in 2019 with 10.31 strikeouts per nine innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred at Brawley Union High School, where he was a first-team all-conference selection and two-time MVP … Contributed a team that won three straight Imperial Valley League championships to go with a CIF San Diego Section Division III title as junior in 2017 … Pitched seven shutout innings for the victory, allowing four hits and one walk in the finals vs. Serra High … Listed as a top 500 prospect nationally by Perfect Game and was ranked No. 52 among right-handed pitchers in California for the class of 2018 … Received preseason All-America honorable mention for the California Region by Perfect Game prior to his senior campaign in 2018 … Also pitched at the club level for the renowned Playa Vista Orioles … Earned a spot on the all-tournament team as a member of the Orioles squad at the 2017 17U Perfect Game World Series in Mesa, Arizona.
