AAF BEGINNING PLANS FOR THE DRIVE 2003

The Aztec Athletic Foundation is currently selling full travel packages for the 2003 EAS Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament. The tournament will again be held in Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center, March 12-15, 2003. The San Diego State men's team will be looking to defend its title and once again look to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

The women's tournament begins on Wednesday, March 12th, while the men's side tips off on Thursday, March 13th. Semifinal action in both brackets will take place on Friday, March 14th, with the finals on Saturday, March 15th.

The package includes deluxe hotel accommodations at the Monte Carlo hotel, guaranteed lower-level all tournament ticket packages at the Thomas and Mack Center, pre-game and other hospitality for the duration of the tournament, and door-to-front door transportation to and from the Monte Carlo and the Thomas and Mack Center.

Four night packages (check-in March 12th, check-out on March 16th) are available for $949 for single occupancy and $1,449 for double occupancy, while three-night packages (check-in March 13th, check-out March 16th) are available for $849 for single occupancy and $1,249 for double occupancy.

Please be aware the lower-level tickets included in the package are only available as a complete package for the entire men's and women's tournament from the Mountain West Conference. These prime seats in the arena will not be available on a single-game basis, and are available on a limited basis to each of the eight participating schools. Those purchasing complete travel packages will receive priority in the San Diego State allotment based upon their AAF giving level.
