AAF BEGINNING PLANS FOR THE DRIVE 2003

The Aztec Athletic Foundation is again working on preparations for The Drive2003, the annual campaign held every spring to raise funds forstudent-athlete scholarships at San Diego State University.

Teams from around San Diego County are working on preparations for thisyear's drive, and have set a goal of $1.25 million for the 10-weekcampaign, building on last year's record and all-time high of $1.1 million.

The AAF is looking for volunteers from across the county to assist incontacting residents and alumni to reach our goal. For your efforts, youwill receive great prizes, including the opportunity to earn SEASON TICKETSTO 2003 AZTEC FOOTBALL AND 2003-04 MEN'S BASKETBALL.

Without question, The Drive 2003 and the funds raised help offset thebiggest challenge facing Aztec Athletics, the annual $3 million needed forstudent-athlete scholarships to field teams on a Division I level. Therehas never been a greater need for your assistance as a volunteer for AztecAthletics, which will allow us to keep moving forward to build a nationallyacclaimed athletic program San Diego wants and deserves.
