BOISE, IDAHO – Coming off a week of no competition, San Diego State Cross Country will be headed to Boise, Idaho to compete in the Aztec’s first ever Pac-12 championship. SDSU will send eight athletes to compete with seven slated to compete and the eighth serving as an alternate. SDSU will face a familiar field to start the postseason with old Mountain West rivals Utah State, Colorado State, Fresno State and the hosting Broncos of Boise State set to race. They will also compete against Oregon State, Gonzaga, Texas State and Washington State to round out the field. Gonzaga, Oregon State and Boise State all rank among the top 10 teams in the West Region as well.

Emilia Greenway and Elliana Lomeli are the lone Aztecs from last season who suited up for the team’s final Mountain West Championship meet and will return to postseason racing this year. Lomeli did not finish the race while Greenway ran 21:52.6 across the six-kilometer course on her way to a 58th place finish.
