SDSU will play nine matches inside Aztec Court at Peterson Gym this fall, opening its home schedule on Friday, Sept. 19 with a non-conference clash against Arizona, a 2025 NCAA tournament participant.

The Aztecs will soon embark on their inaugural Pac-12 season, entertaining league rivals Oregon State (Oct. 8) and Gonzaga (Oct. 10) to kick off a busy October, followed by encounters with Utah State (Oct. 15), Texas State (Oct. 17), Boise State (Oct. 29) and Washington State (Oct. 31).

In addition, SDSU will play host to Fresno State (Nov. 5) and Colorado State (Nov. 14) to round out its home docket.

The Aztecs’ promotional schedule, as well as information on single-match tickets, will be revealed as the season approaches.

Under the direction of seventh-year head coach Brent Hilliard, San Diego State returns seven letterwinners from last year’s squad, which made its second straight conference tournament appearance and third in the last four seasons.

Among the list of Aztec returners is all-conference libero Zara Stewart, who led the team with 455 digs and 32 service aces as a freshman in 2025, while ranking fifth in the Mountain West with 3.70 digs per set. Also back in the mix is sophomore setter Kendall Mairs, who topped the squad with 573 assists (5.26/set) last season and was slotted second with 253 digs (2.32/set).

Not to be outdone, the Aztecs will feature a talented newcomer class this fall, including incoming freshman Logan Cary, who was named Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Colorado as a high school senior in 2025.
