2025 Mountain West All-Academic Team
2025 SEASON (As A Freshman): Made a tremendous impact in her first year on The Mesa, earning all-Mountain West honors after helping the Aztecs secure a spot in the conference tournament… Appeared in all 123 sets for the Scarlet and Black, collecting a team-high 455 digs, the most by an SDSU player since Devyn Pritchard in 2017 (546)… Ranked third in the MW with 3.89 digs per set in league matches and was slotted fifth with 3.70 digs per set for the season… Also topped the squad with 32 service aces overall (0.26/set) and ranked fourth with 169 setting assists (1.37/set)… Recorded double-digit digs in 29 of 31 matches, including 14 straight to end the season… Served up multiple aces on 11 occasions… Opened the season with 17 digs, seven assists, one service ace and one kill in her Aztec debut at California (8-29-25)… Collected 19 digs, four assists and one ace in a narrow five-set loss to the host Houston Cougars at the Flo Hyman Classic (9-4-25)… Opened Mountain West play with 14 digs and five assists in a sweep at Fresno State, where she was credited with a collegiate-best two kills (9-25-25)… Scooped up 20 digs in a four-set triumph at Air Force (10-2-25)… Finished with a career-high 26 digs in a four-set home victory over New Mexico, which tied for the fourth-best total in the Mountain West for all matches during the season… Led all players with 22 digs and registered a collegiate-best three service aces against Grand Canyon (10-16-25)… Followed that effort with a match-high 21 digs at Utah State (10-23-25)… Logged her first career double-double with 12 digs and a season-high 10 assists at New Mexico (11-9-25)… Helped the Aztecs to a first-round upset of Wyoming at the Mountain West tournament with 11 digs, two assists and an ace in the three-set sweep (11-26-25)… Ended the year with 11 digs and five assists in the conference semifinals vs. Colorado State (11-28-25)… Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a multi-sport athlete at First Baptist Academy in Naples, Florida, where she was enrolled from grades 6-12… Helped the Lions to a pair of Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 2A playoff appearances in volleyball, including a final four berth in 2024 under head coach Marci Walker… Led her squad in numerous categories as a senior, including kills (363), kills per set (4.5), digs (339), digs per set (4.2) and service aces (57), according to MaxPreps… Garnered first-team all-area accolades and was selected as the Naples Daily News Female Athlete of the Year at the 2025 Southwest Florida Sports Awards after helping FBA to conference, district and regional titles… Ranked among the top 25 for kills in Florida that season and was named a state all-star… Totaled over 1,231 kills and 1,927 digs in her prep career, collecting team MVP honors on four occasions… Was also a three-time team captain… Excelled at guard on her school’s basketball squad, finishing with career totals of 1,288 points and 445 rebounds… Earned team MVP honors four times as well in basketball… Led FBA to a regional finals appearance in 2025, meriting first-team all- area plaudits…Also lettered in beach volleyball and track & field… Additionally witnessed success in the classroom, receiving magna cum laude honor roll distinction… Was a finalist for the Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation award.
CLUB: Played four years as an outside hitter for the USA South Volleyball club program in Fort Myers, Florida, from 2020-23, followed by single-season stints with OTVA Volleyball in Tampa (2024) and the Performance Volleyball Academy in Naples (2025).
PERSONAL: Born in Naples, Florida… Daughter of Scott and Margaret Stewart… Has three brothers and two sisters… Her father was a college basketball standout at the University of Florida from 1989-93, serving as a team co-captain his senior season before playing professionally overseas… Played prep volleyball and basketball with her younger sister, Laila… Lists Kerri Walsh as her favorite athlete… Enjoys traveling and going to the beach… Aspires to play professional beach or indoor volleyball… Plans to major in communication at SDSU
