SAN DIEGO – On Tuesday, San Diego State women's tennis announced the signing of Charlotte Roesch for the Fall of 2024. She hails from Stuttgart, Germany and is currently ranked No. 27 in the German Junior rankings and No. 147 in the German women's rankings.

"We are very excited to have Charlotte joining the SDSU Women's tennis family for the Fall of 2024," Head Coach Peter Mattera had to say about the new signee. "Charlotte brings a wealth of high-level tennis experience, having represented her region at the very highest level as Champion in 2020, 2021 and 2023. Additionally, Charlotte has had team experience as well, playing in the second Bundesliga in her home country, which will really make the transition to college tennis significantly easier. I have full confidence that Charlotte will really add to our team immediately in both singles and doubles."

Roesch joins an Aztec squad fresh off a 14-8 season that landed the team third in the Mountain West. That SDSU team went 6-3 against ranked opponents. This season's squad added four transfers highlighted by Yasmine Kabbaj, who leads San Diego State with a 9.6 WTN ranking, and Myah Petchey, who is ranked in the ITA Division One singles rankings.
