Promotions Announced for Homecoming on Saturday

SAN DIEGO – After another bye week, San Diego State football is back at Snapdragon Stadium for their homecoming game against Utah State on Saturday. Kickoff will be at 4 p.m.
 
The parking lots at Snapdragon Stadium will open five hours before kickoff at 11:00 a.m. PT.
 
Aztec Village, presented by Snapdragon, opens three hours before kickoff at 1:00 p.m. PT and goes until 3:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Located on the east side of the stadium, Aztec Village features a beer garden, DJ, big screen TV showing other college football games, a Kids Zone with characters and prize wheel, photo ops, chance to win Monster Jam tickets and more.
 
With Saturday representing San Diego State's Homecoming, discounted tickets are available for all SDSU alumni. For more information, visit sdsualumni.org.
 
It is also the Fleet Week Classic as hundreds of Naval families will be in attendance and the Navy Band will join the Aztec Marching Band in the performance of the National Anthem. Members of the U.S. Navy will also be recognized during the game as well as a Veteran's Day recognition.
 
The first 1,000 students to enter Snapdragon Stadium will receive free SDSU roller banners.
 
Prior to kickoff, the Aztecs will have their Warrior Walk led by football alumnus, Marshall Faulk. Faulk was a three-time All-American (1991-93) and two-time unanimous All-American (1992-93), recording back-to-back NCAA rushing titles (1991-92). Faulk, who was second in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1992 and fourth in 1993, went on to be the second pick in the 1994 NFL Draft, where he was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and was the 2000 NFL MVP. Faulk was inducted into the 1998 Aztec Hall of Fame, 2011 NFL Hall of Fame and 2017 College Hall of Fame.
 
Following the Warrior Walk festivities, Faulk will be outside the team store from 3-3:30 signing autographs.
