CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Andrea Gomez and Sammy Lee of the San Diego State women's golf team were named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.
Gomez (Huixquilucan, Mexico) and Lee (San Ramon, Calif.) were each were chosen for their excellence in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year, owning at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
Lee played in all 10 tournaments for the Aztecs and made nine starts while Gomez participated in seven events and was in the starting five for all six of SDSU's spring tournaments. It was the second career honor for Gomez (also in 2020-21) and first for Lee.
