SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State Lacrosse's Deanna Balsama was selected to participate in the division 1 IWLCA Senior All-Star game this Saturday, the IWLCA announced.
The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarter in Sparks, Md. on June 3, 2023.
Balsama will represent the Aztecs and compete on the North team, coached by Katie O'Donnell of Drexel University.
Senior Attack Deanna Balsama started and appeared in all 16 games for the Aztecs in 2023, leading the team with 47 goals and 55 points.
Balsama set school records for most points (73), goals (62) and shots (122) in a season in her first year on The Mesa in 2022 in addition to earning IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Second Team, on the Tewaaraton Watch List and a SDSU Scholar Athlete in 2021.
