SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State Lacrosse earned four CSC Academic All-District honors after Annie Jubb, Katelyn Murphy, Cailin Young, and Katie Wozencroft were named to the team, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced.

The Academic All-District teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-American Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected next month.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution.

Jubb graduated from the undergraduate accounting program in three years and recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a masters in accounting. Throughout her time at SDSU, she has been a four-time scholar athlete, received the Malik award three times, and was a member of the Athletic Director's Leadership council.

Young has appeared and started in every game this season, totaling 32 ground balls and 31 draw controls. As a senior, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in both Sustainability and Urban Studies, as well as an anthropology minor. She is a Malik award winner, a part of the Green Love club, and the Outstanding Graduating senior for Sustainability.

Majoring in criminal justice, Wozencroft holds a cumulative GPA of 3.98 and was a Malik award winner in 2020 and 2021 in addition to being an SDSU scholar-athlete from 2020-2023.
