SAN DIEGO – The Aztec Track and Field team is set to compete at the Oxy Invitational in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, hosted by Occidental College.
The Oxy Invitational marks the final meet of the regular outdoor season for the Aztecs before the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, May 11-13, in Fresno, California.
Competing in the shot put and discus throw, Felicia Crenshaw, Erica Grotegeer, and Onyi Anigbogu will begin meet action for the Aztecs at noon on Saturday.
Corey Freidenbach will represent SDSU in pole vault competition beginning at 1 p.m. PT.
Following the shot put and discus throw, Zoe Brosch and Felicia Crenshaw will participate in the hammer throw at 2 p.m. PT.
Shaquena Foote and Sydney Bentley will wrap up the day of competition first in the 100m at 2:55 p.m., followed by the 200m dash later in the afternoon at 4:25 p.m. PT.
