LOS ANGELES - The Aztec track and field team wrapped up competition at the USC Trojan Invitational this afternoon at Allyson Felix Field in Los Angeles, California. The Aztecs were represented in ten different events by 14 athletes.
SDSU had four athletes, Danae Dyer, Charlize James, Jenna Fee Feyerabend, and Thalia Wilson, compete in the 100m hurdles. Dyer placed fourth with a 13.56 finish, followed by Charlize James in fifth (13.75). Jenna Fee Feyerabend and Thalia Wilson earned sixth and eighth place respectively with times of 14.18 and 14.72. Feyerabend set a new outdoor personal best with her finish.
Freshman Melanie Falkowski competed in the 3000m, earning a fourth place finish with a time of 10:53.17.
In the javelin throw, Thalia Wilson earned a third place finish with a heave of 145' 9" while Ruthie Grant-Williams finished ninth with a throw of 87' 2".
Fee Feyerabend and Wilson also competed in shot put, placing fourth (44'01.25 (13.44m)) and sixth (41'02.00 (12.55m)) respectively.
In the triple jump, Simone Johnson earned a top three finish (second place) with a jump of 43' 07.05 (13.30m) also setting a new personal best. Her performance moves her to fourth best in SDSU outdoor history.

The Aztecs will compete at both the Mt. Sac Relays and the Bryan Clay Invite this upcoming week with competition starting on Wednesday, April 19th.
