WALNUT, Calif -- The Aztec track and field team continued competition today at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, California and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California.
 
At the Mt. Sac Relays, Danae Dyer and Charlize James competed in the 100m hurdles prelims, earning second and ninth place respectively, both qualifying for the finals.
 
In the finals, Dyer earned a second-place finish with a time of 13.27, a new personal best, while James finished seventh (13.67), also setting a new PR.
 
Aisha Watt represented the Aztecs in the 200m, finishing ninth with a time of 23.89.
 
As for the discus throw, Felicia Crenshaw competed in group B and earned a second-place finish after a heave of 158' 2" (48.22m). Erica Grotegeer also competed in the discus throw (group A) and finished 22nd overall with a throw of 152' 4" (46.45m).
 
Over at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, Jenna Fee Feyerabend and Ruthie Grant-Williams wrapped up the heptathlon with the long jump, javelin throw, and 800m, while the distance squad began their competition.
 
Fee Feyerabend set two personal bests in the long jump and javelin throw. Her jump of 19' 05.25 (5.92m) earned her a seventh-place finish and sixth place in the javelin throw (126' 8" (38.61m).
 
Vanessa Cabello raced the 5000m with a time of 17:14.71, earning a new personal best by 30 seconds.
 
The Aztecs are back in action tomorrow afternoon and evening at both the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, California and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Both meets will have results available online at GoAztecs.com on the schedule page.
