SAN DIEGO – The Aztecs are set to compete at two meets this weekend, the NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday and Saturday and Ben Brown Invitational Distance/Carnival in Fullerton, Calif. on Friday.
Jenna Fee Feyerabend and Simone Johnson will represent the Aztecs at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday and Saturday.
Feyerabend will compete in the pentathlon after placing second at the MW Indoor Championships with a personal record of 4,179 points, the best in SDSU indoor history.
Representing the Aztecs in triple jump, Johnson will compete after earning a second place finish and the 11th best performance in the nation. Her jump of 44-00.75 (13.43m) also earned her a new personal best.
ESPN+ (WatchESPN.com) will have championship coverage beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET on March 10 and starting at 10:30 a.m./1:30 p.m. ET March 11. Live Results will be posted throughout the meet and can be accessed online.
The rest of the squad will compete at the Ben Brown Invitational Distance/Carnival in Fullerton, Calif. on Friday.
The action will begin Friday with Maddy Parrone representing the Aztecs in the 3000m steeplechase at 4:55pm. Vanessa Cabello, Jessica Kain, and Alex Lomeli will compete in the 1500m at 5:30pm. Followed by Jessica Kain and Vanessa Cabello racing in the 5000m at 6:55pm.
Lauren Harper, Alex Lomeli, and Tatum Zinkin will race in the 800m to end the evening of competition at 8:10pm.
