COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Jenna Fee Feyerabend earned Mountain West Freshman Athlete of the Week and Kaitlin Heri earned Mountain West Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
 
Jenna Fee Feyerabend won Freshman Athlete of the Week for her performance in the high jump at the Aztec Invitational on Saturday. This is the first time she has won a Mountain West Conference athlete of the week award. The Groß-Gerau, Germany native cleared 5-09.25 on Saturday, which is a freshman class record at SDSU, and the sixth highest mark all-time in program history. That height is the highest height cleared by any athlete in the conference so far this season. The clearance is also the fourth highest mark in the west region, and is tied for the 23rd highest height cleared nationally in the event this season.
 
Kaitlin Heri earned Field Athlete of the Week after clearing 13-09.75 in the pole vault on Saturday at the Aztec Invitational. This is the third time Heri, a senior from Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, Calif. has won outdoor field athlete of the week in her career. That clearance of 13-09.75 is the highest height cleared by any Mountain West athlete during the outdoor season. The 13-09.25 mark is also the second highest height cleared in the west region and is the 12th highest height cleared nationally outdoors this season.
 
The Aztecs are next in action at the Jim Click Shootout and Multi's in Tucson, Ariz. from April 7-9 and the Triton Invitational in La Jolla, Calif. on April 8-9.
