SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women's tennis team completes its 2021 home slate this weekend hosting Air Force and the University of New Mexico April 10 and 11 at the Aztec Tennis Center.  The match between the Lobos and Aztecs is set for April 10, starting at 2 p.m. PT, while the Scarlet and Black's senior-day dual match with the Falcons is scheduled for April 11, starting at noon PT.

In their most recent action, the Aztecs continued conference play with losses to Utah State and Boise State on the road in Boise, Idaho.
SDSU stumbled in a close dual match with Utah State as the Aggies scratched out a 4-3 win in the teams' neutral site match while they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Broncos April 3 to complete the road trip.

The Aztecs were back to full strength for the first time since March 9, 2021, and saw wins on court 1 from senior Tamara Arnold in both dual matches. Both matches saw the Aztecs falter in doubles play but show strong progress in singles play. Arnold was the lone Aztec to win both her singles matches for the weekend, while senior Nnena Nadozie and sophomore Cécile Morin each earned singles wins against the Aggies.

The Lobos and Aztecs meet for the first time since the 2015-16 season where the Scarlet and Black fell to UNM 0-4 in the quarterfinals of the 2016 Mountain West Championships. The Aztecs and Lobos have met 16 times dating back to the 1999 season, with the Aztecs earning a 10-6 record over the Lobos in that time span.

SDSU has not dropped a dual match to Air Force dating back to at least the 2002 season, as the Aztecs hold a 13-0 all-time series record against the Falcons.

A live stream will be available for certain courts at Aztec Tennis schedule for both matches and will be linked on the women's tennis schedule page. Results of each match will be available at the conclusion of play at GoAztecs.com.
