  • The Aztecs enter the Centennial State looking to make program history. San Diego State and Denver meet for the first time since Feb. 23, 2018, as the Aztecs look for their first win over the Pioneers after falling in their seven previous meetings. Similar to the Pioneers, the Aztecs and Buffaloes have not met in over three calendar years, last competing on Feb. 25, 2018. SDSU also looks for its first victory over Colorado with the all-time series currently standing at 0-7.

  • LAST TIME OUT: The San Diego State lacrosse team fell to the UC Davis Aggies 18-7 Friday, March 5 at Aztec Lacrosse Field. Redshirt senior Lexi Tan led the Aztecs on the offensive side of the ball. Tan's stat line included three goals on five shots, 2-2 on free-position shot attempts, a ground ball, and a caused turnover.

  • On the defensive end of the ball in the Aztecs' match-up with UC Davis, senior Bailey Brown led the way for San Diego State. She totaled another impressive performance which included three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and four draw controls. She also added a goal to round out her stat line.

  • The Aztecs are making their names known in the MPSF's individual conference statistical leaderboards. Brown is fourth in the MPSF with 18 ground balls through five games, averaging 3.60/game. Tan sits third in the caused turnovers category with her seven so far this season, averaging 1.40/game, and fourth in the conference in made free position goals, totaling five on the season and averaging 1/game.

  • San Diego State has yet to lose two consecutive matchups this season. The Aztecs are also 2-0 when leading at the halftime break and undefeated when outshooting their opponent, securing more ground balls than their opponent, and when winning more draw controls.

  • When it comes to finding the back of the net, the Aztecs, Buffs and, Pioneers game averages so far this season could determine the outcome of the upcoming matchups. Colorado averages 11 goals a game on 29.7 shots while Denver finds the back of the net an average of 14.5 times a game on 29.5 shots. The Aztecs, meanwhile, average 9.2 goals a game on 24.6 shots.
