SAN DIEGO -- There may be no more Aztecs remaining in the NFL playoffs, but there are still former Aztecs competing in other professional sports.

In the NBA, Kawhi Leonard (2010-11) and the Los Angeles Clippers went 3-0 over the last week, beating New Orleans, Sacramento and Indiana. Leonard averaged 24.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.0 steal per game. The Clippers sit at the 2 seed in the Western Conference. Malachi Flynn (2020) and Toronto also went 3-0 the last week after defeating Charlotte twice and Dallas as well. Flynn averaged 2.7 points, 0.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.7 steals per game over the week. Jalen McDaniels (2018-19), meanwhile, played for one minute in Charlotte's loss to Dallas last Wednesday.

On the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun (2009-12) and Scott Piercy (1999-01) did not make the cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Next weekend, they will compete in The American Express in La Quinta, Calif.
